So you might not know this…
But as a kid, I was actually kind of an idiot!
Get this:
Growing up, I didn’t know you were supposed to sleep with your eyes closed ?
Nobody ever told me you were supposed to close your eyes when you go to sleep lol…
Also, I never used soap until I was 18 or 19, because I didn’t know you were supposed to.
Man… the things my parents should’ve taught me but didn’t…
So why does this matter?
Well, even though I grew up completely oblivious to SO MANY things that were common sense, I actually ended up doing OK in life!
You figure for someone who was dumb growing up, they’d end up picking beans for a living or under disability care or something.
But right now, I live in the most beautiful city in the world just a few blocks from the beach…
With my awesome girlfriend who I’ve been with for 6 years…
And run a business that allows me to reach my full potential and work in my zone of genius everyday.
So even though my parents didn’t “raise” me in the best way possible… they did give me the ONE thing that’s led to all my success.
One thing that’s let me live a life of greatness, which I couldn’t have done without them.
So, check out this week’s podcast to see what that “Thing” is, and how you can cultivate it to achieve whatever you want in life!
